Cats and goats and Ankara

Ankara is an old city, now capital, located in the center of Turkey. It is mostly famous for the angora cat breed, the rabbit and the goat, all of them with some lengthy coating, even tough it hosts the government of the country.

Besides the government, it also hosts the mausoleum for Atatürk (Anıtkabir), the leader of independence and first president. In Turkey they are very proud of this leader and it seems like he appears everywhere. This memorial site's design displays a great mix of the historic styles, and I enjoyed walking around it. In addition, the old city center collects some picturesque vernacular architecture but little of the ancient sites remain.
